Porcellio Bollivari is one of our favorite species at Grubs ‘N’ Tubs! They are the largest isopods we’ve ever seen with an estimated max length of 1.25 inches from head to uropod! This species hails from Spain and was found in caves, so their environment will need to reflect that. We recommend keeping about 2/3rds of the enclosure bone dry and with plenty of ventilation, and the other 1/3rd wet to ensure a place for moisture. They will need something to hide under as they love clinging to surfaces!

We ship our isopods in a secure container that has everything the isopod needs for their journey! This includes moss, some food for the road, and insulating packs dependent on the temperature.
We will do a check to ensure that the temperatures are within a safe shipping range (40º-90º) during their trip. We may hold them back to ensure weather and temperature conditions are proper, which will be communicated with you!
