Cylisticus Convexus - Curly
(Shipping info at bottom!)
This isopod species is pretty common and found throughout the world, they are called “Curlies” because of the way they roll up! This is a good species for pretty much any bio-active setup as they can survive in arid, temperate, or tropical conditions. They have soft bodies as well and can be a good option for feeders. This isopod is very beginner friendly and you can’t go wrong with these guys if you are looking for a cheap reliable option for bio-active setups! They aren’t very protein hungry so they are safer to house with smaller reptiles and amphibians.
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SHIPPING:
We always throw in 1-X over what the count says so you are guaranteed to get some extras!
We ship our isopods in a secure container that has everything the isopod needs for their journey! This includes moss, some food for the road, and insulating packs dependent on the temperature.
We will do a check to ensure that the temperatures are within a safe shipping range (40º-90º) during their trip. We may hold them back to ensure weather and temperature conditions are proper, which will be communicated with you!
